At Eurofest there’s no such thing as an off-season.
We’re still celebrating a fantastic Eurovision and an amazing result for Sam Ryder – we’re still up in Space Man!
For our summer party on Friday 22nd July we’re going to be joined by Ireland’s fabulous BROOKE, whose song That’s Rich has become a fan favourite, and of course received the Douze Points from the UK’s televoters in this year’s contest.
We know she’s going to give a storming set guaranteed to keep the dancefloor buzzing.
And to bring the Euroclub vibe to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, we’ll also have seven hours of non-stop Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes from our top team of DJs – Don Grant, John Hagley and Dave Simmons.
Tickets are £8 in advance through OutSavvy, plus we’ll have a limited number of tickets on the door for £10.
Doors open at 9pm, Brooke will be on stage around midnight, and we’re open until 4am.
UPDATE 22/06/22 – advance tickets have sold out, but you can sign up for the waiting list where re-sale tickets will become available.
Our next Eurofest will be our 30th edition – and we’ve decided to party in style!
We are proud and excited to be bringing to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, London the “people’s choice” of Eurovision 2019, the fabulous KEiiNO, on Friday 8th November.
The Norwegian trio have been the ultimate fan favourite, winning this year’s televote, with the brilliant “Spirit in the Sky” and they will be bringing their spectacular show to the RVT stage.
But that’s not all….!
Eurofest is delighted to be hosting the return of the Second Cherry contest – a celebration of songs that competed in contests across Europe for the chance to represent their countries at Eurovision – but failed. Second Cherry is their second chance; a second bite of the cherry.
After a few years hiatus, the Second Cherry team are back for 2019 accompanied by a podcast and they will be hosting the live ‘final’ at the start of Eurofest (7:45-10pm).
The audience on the night will vote as juries and form 50% of the vote. The other 50% will be from an online vote of the Second Cherry podcast listeners. Turn up, enjoy the show, vote, and then party!
Plus of course all the best Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes from our team of DJs Don Grant, John Hagley and Dave Simmons.
Tickets are on sale now. There are two categories of ticket:
- one allows entry ALL EVENING FROM 7PM, giving you Second Cherry, Eurofest and KEiiNO;
- one allows entry AFTER 10pm, to ensure you get Eurofest and of course KEiiNO
Both priced at £10, the two categories are purely to manage numbers at Second Cherry.
For our live act we’re giddy with excitement to be joined by one of the big come-back stars of this year, the fantastic Anna Bergendahl!
Almost a decade since she represented Sweden at Eurovision with “This Is My Life“, she’s back in 2019 looking and sounding better than ever, taking Melfest by storm with the brilliant “Ashes to Ashes“.
And of course we’ve got a night of Eurotastic hits and remixes courtesy of the UK’s leading team of Eurovision DJs – Don Grant, John Hagley and Dave Simmons.
Tickets are £6.50 (+fee) in advance, or £8 on the door.
Ding dong! Eurofest is back for 2019 on Friday 11th January!
To celebrate our seventh birthday we’ll have a live appearance from Finland’s fabulous Krista Siegfrids. She has been loved by Eurovision and Schlager fans everywhere since taking to the stage in Malmö in 2013 with the infectious Marry Me. Since then she’s taken part twice in Melodifestivalen and has been a host of Finland’s national final, Uuden Musikiin Kilpailu.
Her live set is full of Eurovision classics – just what London needs on a cold January night.
And as ever we are at the fantastic Royal Vauxhall Tavern and we’ll have six hours of the best hits and remixes courtesy of the UK’s leading team of Eurovision, Europop and Schlager DJs – Don Grant, John Hagley and Dave Simmonds.
Tickets in advance at £6.50, and on the door for £8.
If you’re Busy Doin’ Nothing over the next few months, Don’t Worry because Eurofest is back with a real Wild Child!
As ever we will be at London’s RVT, and for our next event on Friday 12th October we will have a live performance from the fabulous Ace Wilder!
Ace – or Alice Gernandt as her parents know her – has taken part in Sweden’s Eurovision selection show, Melodifestivalen, on no less than three occasions, qualifying for the final each time, and including two top three places.
In 2014 she was runner up by just two points with Busy Doin’ Nothing, following this up with Don’t Worry in 2016 and Wild Child in 2017.
In addition to her Melodifestivalen performances, Ace is an accomplished dancer and performer and we can guarantee a Eurotastic show.
Of course we’ll also be playing the best in Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes, old and new for six euphoric hours.
And you can get all this for just £6.50 in advance or £8 if you pay on the door.
OMG, Eurofest is turning SIX years old! So come help us celebrate on Friday 12 January and kick start 2018 with a Eurovision party to remember, with a live performance from the fabulous Slovenian pop diva, REBEKA DREMELJ!
She of course represented Slovenia back in 2008 with “Vrag Naj Vzame”. Famously, Rebeka’s performance at Eurovision included her pulling along rubber-clad backing dancers with a collar and lead – so ideal for Vauxhall! She’s also behind the staple of any decent Eurovision party, the fabulous “Pojdi Z Menoj” from the 2005 Slovene national final.
Rebeka will be bringing a touch of glamour to a cold winters night at London’s Royal Vauxhall Tavern, as she has also taken part in Miss World!
Plus, as ever, non-stop Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes all night long, provided by the UK’s leading Eurovision DJ’s Dave Simmons, Don Grant and John Hagley.
Keep up to date with all the news about the event on Facebook.
Tickets on sale now – £6 in advance, or £8 on the door.
It’s just two days to go until Eurofest’s fifth birthday event! And it’s proving to be one of our most popular events ever, with all pre-sale tickets having sold out. We will have around 50 tickets left for sale on the door on a first come, first served basis. So get yourself to the RVT in good time on Friday if you don’t already have a ticket.
As well as the six hours of Eurovision and schlager hits and remixes, we are of course mega excited to have a live performance from the fabulous Magnus Carlsson. Magnus is quite simply Melodifestivalen royalty having performed in the show an amazing eight times! We know he will put on a great show for us.
So let’s hope the snow stays away on Friday and we can get the 2017 Eurovision year off to a great start!
Back in January 2012 London hadn’t yet hosted the Olympics, Loreen was yet to win Eurovision and Brexit was just a twinkle in David Cameron’s eye. Five years on much has changed in the world, but after 20 (!) Eurofests one thing remains the same – our love of all things Eurovision and Schlager!
To help us celebrate in style, flying in from Stockholm is schlager superstar Magnus Carlsson. Magnus has taken part in Melodifestivalen an amazing eight times with Alcazar, Barbados and as a solo artist, most recently in 2015 with the fabulous “Möt mig i Gamla Stan”.
As ever we’re at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and we’ll be flying the flag for Eurovision all night long with six hours of Eurotastic hits and remixes, provided by the UK’s leading Eurovision DJs Dave Simmons, Don Grant and John Hagley.
Tickets are available from here at £6 (+£0.60 booking fee) if bought in advance, or £8 on the night. Doors will open at 9pm and we will be partying away until 3am.
A few Drama Queens have claimed that 2016 was the year schlager died (yes Christer Bjorkman, we’re looking at you). To prove them wrong and to keep the schlager flame burning bright we’re hosting a summer schlager special on Friday 22 July! Our Eurotastic DJs Dave Simmons, Don Grant and John Hagley will be playing loads of schlager and scandipop favourites, old and new, so we can dance the night away. And top it all off, we have a live performance from the schlagertastic DQ!
DQ represented Denmark at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest with “Drama Queen”, and continues to perform around Europe. As well as “Drama Queen”, DQ will be singing other classics from Eurovisions past. Hopefully there’s enough space on the flight from Copenhagen for her feathered headdress and all her costumes!
So get ready for an evening of key changes, impassioned dance moves and pretending we know the words to Shirley Clamp’s songs.
Doors open at 9pm and admission is just £5 before 10.30pm and £8 afterwards, and we’ll be dancing the night away until 3am.
