If you’re Busy Doin’ Nothing over the next few months, Don’t Worry because Eurofest is back with a real Wild Child!
As ever we will be at London’s RVT, and for our next event on Friday 12th October we will have a live performance from the fabulous Ace Wilder!
Ace – or Alice Gernandt as her parents know her – has taken part in Sweden’s Eurovision selection show, Melodifestivalen, on no less than three occasions, qualifying for the final each time, and including two top three places.
In 2014 she was runner up by just two points with Busy Doin’ Nothing, following this up with Don’t Worry in 2016 and Wild Child in 2017.
In addition to her Melodifestivalen performances, Ace is an accomplished dancer and performer and we can guarantee a Eurotastic show.
Of course we’ll also be playing the best in Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes, old and new for six euphoric hours.
And you can get all this for just £6.50 in advance or £8 if you pay on the door.
Summer’s here and the UK’s biggest Eurovision and Europop club night is back!
We’ll be kicking off August Bank Holiday weekend in style on Friday 24th August with our big summer spectacular. And as ever we will be at London’s legendary Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
To help get the party going, our live act are two of the most Eurotastic and Schlagertastic performers you could wish for. We’re turning the clock back ten years for a live performance from Iceland’s Eurovision 2008 representatives Euroband!
The duo – Fridrik Omar and Regina Osk – have become fan favourites over the years and their live set is packed full of Eurovision classics, including of course their own smash hit “This Is My Life”.
Plus we’ll be playing the best in Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes, old and new. With it being summer AND a Bank Holiday weekend we’re staying open right through until 4am.
All this for just £6.50 in advance or £8 on the door.
Good evening London, may we have your votes please?
Eurofest is once again teaming up with Manchester’s Boom Bang a Bang party for the UK’s biggest Eurovision preview vote on Friday 23rd March at the RVT in London.
We’ll be playing all the entries for this year’s contest and then YOU decide who should be the winner in Lisbon.
But if that wasn’t enough, we’re HUGELY excited to be joined later in the evening by a Scandic Eurovision queen, the amazing NANNE GRÖNVALL!
Nanne has taken part in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen no less than seven times, and scored a Top 3 Eurovision placing back in 1996. She’s even taken part in the UK national final!
Plus of course all the Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes from DJ’s Don Grant, John Hagley and Dave Simmonds.
For the preview show, doors open at 7pm, and the show kicks off at 7:45pm prompt. Get there early to get a front row seat. Tickets for the preview show are limited to 150 and only available online, for £7.
But if you want to save the songs until May and just come along for a night of Nanne and Euroclubbing, join us from 10pm and it’ll be £8 on the door.
OMG, Eurofest is turning SIX years old! So come help us celebrate on Friday 12 January and kick start 2018 with a Eurovision party to remember, with a live performance from the fabulous Slovenian pop diva, REBEKA DREMELJ!
She of course represented Slovenia back in 2008 with “Vrag Naj Vzame”. Famously, Rebeka’s performance at Eurovision included her pulling along rubber-clad backing dancers with a collar and lead – so ideal for Vauxhall! She’s also behind the staple of any decent Eurovision party, the fabulous “Pojdi Z Menoj” from the 2005 Slovene national final.
Rebeka will be bringing a touch of glamour to a cold winters night at London’s Royal Vauxhall Tavern, as she has also taken part in Miss World!
Plus, as ever, non-stop Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes all night long, provided by the UK’s leading Eurovision DJ’s Dave Simmons, Don Grant and John Hagley.
Keep up to date with all the news about the event on Facebook.
Tickets on sale now – £6 in advance, or £8 on the door.
After our summer break, Eurofest is back for the autumn! And who better to get the party started again than one of the biggest Eurovision fan favourites of recent years, Poli Genova!
The Bulgarian diva has represented her country on two occasions. Firstly with “Na Inat” back in 2011, which was cruelly robbed of a place in the final. And then with the poptastic “If Love Was A Crime” in 2016 in Stockholm which finished a fantastic fourth in the final, Bulgaria’s best ever result at the time. Her hit charted in 26 countries and has streamed over three MILLION times.
As well as a live appearance from Poli we will of course be playing the best in Eurovision, Europop and Schlager hits and remixes from our ever-wonderful team of DJs: John Hagley, Don Grant and Dave Simmons.
Tickets on sale now for £8 (plus booking fee) in advance, or £10 on the door if their are still tickets available.
It’s just over a month since the Eurovision 2015 final in Vienna, and the Eurofest team have just about recovered from partying (and the rather wet weather)! For those of you suffering from PED – post-Eurovision depression – fear not because we’ve got some exciting news.
We will be back for our regular club night at the RVT in London on Friday 24 July, and we’ve got a very special guest for you. Flying in from the holiday island of Malta is someone who’s participated in Eurovision not once, not twice, but three times – the amazing Chiara!
Chiara is officially one of the most successful Eurovision participants ever, and by far Malta’s most successful Eurovision performer. She came third in 1998 with “The One That I Love”, only narrowing losing out to the winner, Dana International, on the very last vote (I’m not sure we’ll ever be able to forgive Macedonia for failing to give Chiara any points when announcing the final set of scores). In 2005 Chiara scored Malta’s best-ever Eurovision performance with “Angel” finishing second. She gave it one more go in 2009 with “What If We”, but sadly she wasn’t able to make it third time lucky.
And if Chiara’s performance wasn’t enough to get you along, of course we’ll also have six hours of non-stop Eurovision and schlager anthems from our very own Heroes (see what we did there :-p), our team of DJs Don Grant, John Hagley and Dave Simmons. All this for the bargain price of £5 before 10.30pm and £8 afterwards. No need for tickets in advance, just pay on the door.
And if you can’t quite wait that long before your next Eurovision fix then get yourself along to Bristol Pride on Saturday 11 July where Eurofest is at the Official Pride After Party at the O2 academy. As well as our DJs playing all the Euro-tastic hits there will be live performances from the wonderful Nicki French and Euroband’s Fridrik! Plus they’ve got some fab Eurovision stars performing on the Main Stage during the day (Nicki French; Cheryl, Mike and Jay Formerly of Bucks Fizz; and Ryan Dolan). Get your tickets now!
On Friday 10 April we are once again teaming up with Manchester’s ever-popular Boom-Bang-A-Bang Party for the country’s biggest Eurovision 2015 preview vote!
We will be playing the videos of all 40 entries in this year’s Contest, and then it’s down to YOU to decide who should be the winner in Vienna! By the end of today we will know all the songs that are taking part in this year’s concert, and our preview show is a great way to help you decide who is going to be your favourite this year.
With a number of countries returning to the fold for the contest’s historic 60th edition, plus the debut of that well known European country of Australia, it’s anybody’s guess who will get the votes of UK fans.
If you want to save the songs until May and are just in the mood for a dance, we’ll have four hours of Eurovision and Europop from 11pm from the Eurofest DJs Don Grant, John Hagley and the UK’s leading Eurovision DJ Dave Simmons. As ever you can expect plenty of hits from this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovisions past and some classic Europop.
For the preview show, doors open from 7pm, and the show kicks off at 8pm prompt. Get there early to get a front row seat! The preview show will be by ticket in advance (£6 plus 60p booking fee), and only available on the door if there are any tickets left. After 11pm you can pay on the door as normal (£8).
Last year we sold out – so book now to avoid disappointment!
